Road Trip Jams and Podcasts

Dear Readers,

Those of you who follow me on Instagram may know that I’m planning to post more travel guides on Wandering Wednesdays - thank you so much for your feedback on social media, I so appreciate it and enjoy interacting with each of you!

So this week, I am launching in with my favorite roadtrippin’ songs and podcasts. Today marks an official month on the road, living out of Luna and crossing 5 State Lines (soon to be 6). Needless to say, there has been a lot of time on the road. So, it only feels appropriate to fill you in on how I’m staying entertained.

Here is a guide to my favorite tunes of the 90’s and today, and my new found love of podcasts — the feminist podcast are insanely good ya’ll! So without further adieu, here they are:

A quick note about Unladylike Episode 2 featuring clips from Bodies by Allison Behringer…I listened to this podcast yesterday on my way back into the wilderness and sobbed. Perhaps this is a post that can be bridged into more deeply on a Feminist Friday, but the podcast discusses the gaslighting women experience in our medical system. The words Allison spoke about her pain being dismissed again and again rings so true to me. I highly recommend listening to Episode 2 of Unladylike and Episode 1 of Bodies back to back.

For Feminist Friday, ya’ll have voted for “Unsticking Yourself” so please expect that post on Friday if I can find Wifi in the depths of the Grand Canyon (no need to worry, it will be posted by the end of the weekend at the very latest).

I hope you all enjoyed this switch up this week! Please comment below with your thoughts or requests. I so welcome your feedback and insight!

With love,

Annalise
